Windows System Administrator
MBA CSi is hiring a Windows System Administrator to manage, support, and secure Windows-based systems with a focus on legacy applications. This role is vital to maintaining USPS field-deployed infrastructure and lab environments, ensuring system stability while supporting modernization efforts. Core Responsibilities:
Configure, monitor, and maintain Windows Servers and desktops (Windows Pro 10/11, Server 2012-2022) Support legacy applications and mainframe-connected systems (e.g., COBOL) Troubleshoot hardware and software issues to minimize downtime Implement backup and disaster recovery processes Apply system updates and security patches, especially in aging environments Document system architecture and troubleshooting procedures Monitor performance and optimize resource usage Collaborate with IT teams on system upgrades and integrations Required Qualifications:
Bachelor's degree in IT, Computer Science, or related field 3-5+ years of Windows systems administration experience Strong skills in:
Windows Server 2012-2022, Windows Pro 10/11 Active Directory, DNS, DHCP BigFix, PowerShell scripting Legacy systems and mainframe connectivity
