We manufacture brick and distribute our own brick as well as brick and associated products manufactured by others. Summary We are seeking a "best in class" Utility Worker with a strong work ethic and desire to be an integral part of an effective team. The ideal candidate has a natural ability to roll with the punches, being flexible to handle anything that might come their way. You will be a strong and reliable support to company operations. Not only will your efforts allow us to achieve organizational efficiency, you will nurture the pleasant work environment our people love. Associate's Duties Drives transfer car from packaging (unloaded) to manufacturing (loading) and dryer (pre-kiln). Cleans and prepares car for manufacturing to place brick on top of deck block. Verifies the block on car is solid and replaces any broken block. Flags damaged cars and transfers car to KCR (Kiln Car Repair). Ability to organize completed cars in holding area for dryer and kiln. Associate's Skills Self-motivated Logical Organized Reliable Time management Competencies Required for Success Integrity Self-motivated Teamwork Demonstrated prioritization / time management skills Education High school diploma or equivalent; OR one to three months related experience AND/OR training; OR equivalent combination of education and experience.
