Hourly Pay Range: $19.89 - $28.84 - The hourly pay rate offered is determined by a candidate's expertise and years of experience, among other factors. Position Highlights: Position: Medical Assistant Location: Buffalo Grove, IL Full Time/Part Time: Full Time Hours: Monday through Thursday 7am
5:30pm, Fridays between 7am
4pm Saturdays between 8am- 12pm Required Travel: Must be able to travel to Highland Park, Buffalo Grove, Round Lake Beach and Lake Forest. This position is to primarily at Highland Park and Buffalo Grove locations. What You Will Do: Greet patients and escort them to exam room Document vital signs, allergies, medications and reason for office visit Provide front office support as needed Perform basic vitals like BP, height and weight Phlebotomy and injections may be required What You Will Need: Education: High school diploma or equivalent work experience is required. Graduate of an accredited medical assisting program is preferred, but not required Certification: CPR certification through the American Heart Association required; Medical Assistant Certification (AMT or AAMA) is preferred, but not required. Experience: One year of work experience required, previous experience working in a medical office (or related field) is preferred. On the job training is provided for those who do not have previous medical assistant training or experience.
