Mechanical Engineer
The Mechanical Engineer will be responsible for concept creation, electronic packaging, thermal design and analysis of cooling solutions, structural analysis, and design for manufacturability and serviceability. Job Responsibilities: Areas of focus for the Mechanical Engineer are concept creation, mechanical design and documentation using PTC Creo & Windchill, electronic packaging, thermal design and analysis of cooling solutions, structural analysis, design for manufacturability and serviceability, BOM creation, manufacturing support & sustaining engineering. The Mechanical Engineer works in close collaboration with other engineers (electrical, optical, systems, software, industrial), program managers, manufacturing associates and executive staff to deliver cutting-edge products according to accelerated schedules. The work environment is dynamic and fast-paced, taking full advantage of a wide array of fabrication and manufacturing capabilities existing under one roof. Requirements: Bachelor of Science Degree in Mechanical Engineering; Master's Degree is a plus 2-10 years of design experience Experience with PTC Creo and Windchill Ability to be flexible with changing project schedules Good verbal and written communication with the ability to work within a team environment Continuously looking for details to create a quality product Preferred: Experience with FEA and CFD Experience with sheet metal and extrusion fabrication processes Experience with PTC Simulate (Mechanica), Flo-EFD, Femap Pay Range: $60
