Machine Operator

Customers rely on our machines to produce and convert items such as corrugated boxes, folding cartons, passports, notebooks, copy paper, board, and coated and other specialty papers. As the Machine Operator, you will be operating a variety of machine tools or special purpose equipment according to production specifications. You will be working from drawings, route sheets, specifications, and instructions to determine operational sequence; set tools and select and set speeds and feeds according to type of material and finish requirements. You will also perform duties associated with receiving, routing, and storing materials. Additional Job Functions: Operating machine tools such as special purpose equipment including Preprogrammed CNC Lathe, Rotary Grinder, Razor Tooling, and Auto Tool Grinder that sharpen blades and laser etching equipment according to production specifications and needs. Mechanically inclined to make machine adjustments and trouble shoot as needed. Verifying conformance of machined work to specifications using measuring instruments such as calipers, micrometers, and fixed or telescoping gauges. Reading and interpreting machining instructions, job orders, and blueprints to determine dimensional specifications, sequences of operations, setups, and tooling requirements. Ensuring safety operating procedures are followed throughout projects. Motivated to work independently or within a team, working well within organizational department structure. 2nd Shift, Monday - Thursday - 2:00PM - 12:00AM Basic Qualifications and Requirements: Have High School Diploma or GED equivalent.
