Mayo Clinic in Rochester, MN is seeking a Nuclear Medicine Radiologist to join our practice. The ideal candidate would have expertise in another area of practice within radiology in addition to Nuclear Medicine. The applicant should be seeking an advanced state of the art clinical practice with opportunities for research and education. The position will include participation in our clinical and research Nuclear Medicine practice, including general nuclear medicine, a full spectrum of radiopharmaceutical therapies, cardiac, oncologic and neurologic SPECT/CT, PET/CT, and PET/MR practice. The Nuclear Medicine division consists of dedicated clinical and research physicians. The clinical practice conducts nearly 45,000 Nuclear Medicine exams per year with more than 26,000 PET/CT examinations performed. Our therapy practice has earned the SNMMI Comprehensive Radiopharmaceutical Center of Excellence designation. The clinical practice is supported by a dedicated research PET/CT and small animal imaging facility. Extensive educational opportunities exist particularly given Mayo Clinics global patient mix. There are nuclear medicine fellowship positions available each year and over 50 trainees in the residency program. Numerous research opportunities are present on multiple fronts given the close working relationships with clinical colleagues as well as strong physicist and scientist support. The Nuclear Medicine division and Radiology department benefit from strong administrative support. Qualifications: Candidates must be board-certified or board-eligible by the American Board of Radiology. Candidates must have advanced fellowship training in Nuclear Medicine and be ABR CAQ certified or CAQ-eligible or ABNM certified. Exempt Status: Exempt Compensation Detail: The minimum starting salary for Medical specialties may range from $202,000 to $663,037. This range reflects full-time total base compensation prior to consideration of additional experience or duties. Pay for the selected candidate will vary based on specialty, experience, FTE, internal equity, or external market data.
