Sorting Room Supervisor
Location: The Salvation Army Family Thrift Store- 3730 Richland Ave. Aiken, SC Hours: Monday -Friday 10 am-6 pm &Saturday 10 am-5 pm About this opportunity: Sorting Room Supervisor Supervises and participates in the work performed by employees and community service workers in the warehouse. Key responsibilities: Determines the suitability and pricing of items based on established standards and ensures the thrift store remains adequately stocked. Ensures that all donated items are processed through the warehouse promptly and following established standards. Ensures the thrift store remains adequately stocked. Qualifications
What we are looking for in you: High School Diploma or G.E.D. preferred, and three years of experience performing warehouse work with at least six months of experience in a supervisory capacity, or any equivalent combination of training and experience which provides the required knowledge, skills, and abilities. Working Conditions: Work is performed in a warehouse environment where there are physical discomforts associated with changes in weather or discomforts associated with noise, dust, dirt, and the like.
