Position: Senior Tax Associate We are seeking an exceptional individual to serve as a Senior Tax Associate within Trove's Tax Division. The Senior Tax Associate is a key member of each of our client teams. The role requires solid tax compliance skills along with strong communication skills needed to interact directly with clients and their other advisors. A successful candidate will have the opportunity to grow into multiple roles within the firm. Responsibilities: Preparation of moderate/complex tax returns for individuals and companies First level of review for certain tax returns Assistance with 1099s, payroll, and sales tax filings as needed Analysis to determine best tax strategies Skills and Experience for Success: Critical and strategic thinker who thrives in a quick paced, ever changing, complex environment Exceptional communication, writing, and listening skills Team player with a high EQ willing to "roll up their sleeves to do what it takes" Qualifications: The ideal candidate for the position must be willing to learn and apply new concepts and ideas. They must be a hard worker and be comfortable sharing unique ideas and concepts. The ideal experience will include: 2+ years of experience in tax compliance and planning (public accounting or similar experience) Bachelor's Degree in Accounting, or related/equivalent field Position Reports to: Managing Partner of Trove's Tax and Advisory Division Location: This position is located in our Stamford, CT office, with the ability to work remotely up to 2 days per week after a 120-day training and onboarding period.
