About The Role
As an Order Shopper, your role is to assist the e-commerce team by collecting and packaging items for customer orders. You'll ensure that orders are prepared accurately and efficiently for delivery or pickup. What You Will Do
Fulfills online orders efficiently, accurately and with a sense of urgency (picking + scanning + packing). Comfort using handheld technology (mobile) devices to fulfill orders. Eagerness to learn product knowledge, customer service standards, and store operations. Willingness to work in other areas of the e-commerce department as required, e.g., customer service, cashier, food orders runner. Follow all departmental and company procedures, practices, and policies. Perform all other tasks as duties as assigned and/or per business need. About You
1+ years of experience as an In-Store Shopper or Picker. Prior grocery, culinary, or hospitality experience preferred. Detail-oriented, paying attention to product and order accuracy. Ability to keep staging area organized and free of clutter. The ability to work as part of a team. Time management and ability to work under pressure. Exceptional guest service and interpersonal skills, including verbal and written communication. Ability to work a flexible schedule inclusive of varying shifts such as days, evenings, weekends, and holidays. Additional Requirements:
Ability to perform the essential job functions consistently, safely, and successfully with the ADA, FMLA and other federal, state, and local standards, including meeting qualitative and/or quantitative productivity standards. Ability to maintain regular, punctual attendance consistent with the ADA, FMLA and other federal, state, and local standards. Ability to lift and carry items weighing up to 50 pounds on a regular basis. Ability to stand for prolonged periods of time. Moving about on foot to accomplish tasks, particularly frequent movements from place to place within the property. Bend, lift, carry, reach/extend arms, and hands above shoulder height frequently, or otherwise move in a constantly changing environment. Climbing steps regularly. Exposure to temperatures:
90 degrees Fahrenheit. Compensation range: $18.00
