Assistant Project Manager (APM)

As an Assistant Project Manager (APM) with LFG, Power Design's critical power manufacturing division, you'll support project execution for custom switchgear, busway, and prefabricated power equipment. You'll work directly alongside LFG Project Managers and cross-functional teamsincluding engineering, production, QC, and procurementto keep complex deliverables moving forward from concept through delivery. You'll gain exposure to both the manufacturing and construction sides of the business, while helping to ensure our critical power products are delivered on time, on budget, and to spec. This is an excellent entry point into a fast-growing division where innovation, collaboration, and ownership drive success. Position Details/Responsibilities

Support LFG Project Managers in the coordination and tracking of all project deliverables Communicate with internal departments to confirm timelines, production needs, delivery schedules, and technical requirements Help manage documentation such as submittals, change orders, production logs, and shipping details Track and follow up on tasks related to engineering, procurement, production, quality control, and startup Support communication with internal stakeholders, field teams, and client-facing partners to ensure seamless handoffs Participate in team meetings, factory visits, and field startup discussions as needed Contribute to continuous improvement of LFG workflows and operations Learn and grow under the mentorship of experienced manufacturing and project leaders Here's What We're Looking For

College degree in Construction Management, Engineering, Supply Chain, or a related field; or 3+ years of relevant industry experience A detail-oriented professional with strong problem-solving and communication skills Familiarity with project management workflows, manufacturing processes, or electrical systems is a plus Ability to learn quickly, multitask, and thrive in a fast-paced, cross-functional environment Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite and adaptable to new systems or tools A team player with a passion for innovation, growth, and getting things done Someone who upholds Power Design's core values: integrity, accountability, teamwork, innovation, and growth A Little Bit About Us
