We're looking for an experienced

Senior Wastewater Treatment Project Manager

who will build strategic business partnerships and win and deliver large, complex wastewater projects with key municipal clients in the Houston, Texas area. This position will support two primary areas of our business Senior Wastewater Treatment Project Manager delivering One Water Solutions and providing wastewater-focused business development in support of our Texas Water Market Growth. Your central role will be to work closely with the Houston, Texas, broader Texas and National Water Leadership teams to achieve these objectives. Senior Project Manager

- As a Senior Project Manager, you will need to have a demonstrated understanding of client organizations and processes, the ability to develop and maintain consistent relationships at all organizational levels, and the drive to work to ensure that Jacobs is the consultant-of-choice for our clients. You will be accountable for successfully completing projects to the satisfaction of clients and key stakeholders, while simultaneously ensuring that Jacobs business and policy expectations are met in the areas of health and safety, quality, financial, project delivery, and risk management. You'll be able to leverage your people management skills to optimize your teams performance and consistently deliver high-quality technical solutions for our clients. You should have demonstrated experience in leading and managing teams through all phases of project planning, execution, and closeout consistent with established project delivery processes to meet the scope, schedule, budget, and other specified requirements stated in the contract.

Water Market Growth and Business Development

- As a Senior Wastewater Project Manager, you will also work with our operational sales team, Client Account Managers (CAMs), and senior sales leadership to develop and implement strategies to grow our water business with a focus on key Houston area clients. We will expect you to play a leadership role in business development activities that result in the award of new contracts and to contribute to the development of a Water Market Strategy that delivers leading-edge technology solutions for our clients while also actively diversifying and expanding our client base. This typically includes client relationship development, project-specific positioning activities, teaming arrangements, proposal preparation, oral presentations, and contract negotiations consistent with established business development processes.

Here's what you'll need

B.S degree in related engineering, science, or applicable discipline A minimum of 10 years of progressively responsible Project Management experience delivering water and wastewater treatment projects, with an emphasis on municipal consulting A thorough understanding and proven track record of managing projects involving advanced wastewater treatment processes, including membranes and enhanced biological treatment, with proven capabilities for resolving complex technical issues. Strong understanding of project delivery tools and metrics, and a proven history leading project delivery teams to successfully meet client expectations Attributes that include self-motivation, team-oriented work practices, strong data analysis and technical problem solving, and a strong organizational approach Proven track record in developing and maintaining strong client relationships that result in the creation and procurement of new and repeat consulting work

Ideally, You'll Also Have

M.S. degree in related engineering, science, or applicable discipline 15+ years of progressively responsible Project Management experience delivering water and wastewater treatment projects, with an emphasis on municipal consulting

The base salary range for this position is $167,500.00 to $253,330.00. Within the range, individual pay is determined by work location and additional factors, including job-related skills, experience, and relevant education or training.
