Manufacturing Receiving Specialist Lead (2nd Shift)

Job DescriptionKO Business Solutions is a family-owned consulting firm proud to work with a manufacturing company in Elk Grove Village, IL who is seeking a 2nd Shift Receiving Specialist Lead to join their team.The Receiving Specialist Lead is responsible for receiving product, inspection part condition, and moving it to the various process areas.Schedule: 3pm -11:30pm (with overtime eligibility) Location: Elk Grove Village, IL Job-Type: Direct Hire, Full-timePay-Rate: $19-$20/hrPrimary Job Responsibilities:Open and unpackage product.Complete multiple steps including counting, serial number verification, and visual inspection.Complete part inspection and communicate any potential defects.Complete paperwork and electronic entries, deliver product to various locations throughout the shop.Start each shift by evaluating workload and disseminating to staff.Knowledge, Skills, Abilities:A detail-oriented, organized, self-starting individual with excellent communication and interpersonal skills.Ability to prioritize and efficiently complete tasks with consistency and accuracy, often under pressure and/or short deadlines.PC proficient.Develop and maintain a comprehensive understanding of MIL's processing capabilities as well as MIL's Quality System and general procedures.Minimum Job Requirements:High school diploma or GED is required.Experience in a manufacturing or receiving environment.PC literate with at least a basic understanding of Microsoft Office applications.Basic arithmetic skills (i.e., add, subtract, multiply, divide).Able to speak and write English (Bilingual in Spanish/English is a plus).Visual acuity (must pass a standard vision test, corrected or uncorrected vision).Individual must be authorized to work in the U.S.This position requires access to ITAR-controlled information and materials.
