District Dispatcher Job Responsibilities:
The District Dispatcher will play a crucial role in ensuring efficient communication between drivers and the operations team. This position requires strong organizational skills, the ability to multitask, and a commitment to providing excellent service. The District Dispatcher will be responsible for scheduling multiple locations within the district.
District Dispatcher Job Duties: Coordinate and schedule transportation routes for drivers, ensuring accuracy and maintaining a two-week schedule at all times Extensive collaboration with Operations and Branch Managers to ensure proper utilization rates are maintained Communicate effectively with drivers using phone systems to provide real-time updates Monitor fleet operations and manage day-to-day activities Input and maintain accurate data in dispatching system Respond promptly to any issues or delays that arise during transportation Collaborate with other departments to ensure seamless operations within the supply chain Work closely with the Finance Department, i.e. Billers and Operations Specialists, to ensure expeditious and accurate invoicing Will be required to be On-Call bi-weekly Requirements

Compliance and Risk Management: Ability to ensure work is done within industry regulations while upholding TAS' safety requirements, ensuring all employees adhere to rules and regulations Relationship Management and Communication: Ability to effectively build, maintain, and navigate interactions with others with clear and concise communications Customer Focus: Ability to prioritize and meet the needs of customers, both internal and external Problem Solving: Ability to identify, analyze, and resolve challenges effectively Execution: Ability to translate plans and strategies into tangible results, getting things done effectively and efficiently Product Knowledge: Deep understanding of company offerings and products as well as industry regulations and fleet compliance. Education and Experience:
Strong communication skills, both verbal and written, to effectively relay information Proficiency in logistics management and supply chain processes Experience with fleet management systems Experience with data entry and maintaining accurate records Familiarity with Acumatica and Wastelinq, Microsoft 365 or similar software is required Basic understanding of environmental response route optimization is a plus Ability to work under pressure while managing multiple tasks simultaneously
