Network Engineer
The Judge Group is currently seeking a Network Engineer with an active secret clearance to support a classified customer in Springfield, VA. This position offers a hybrid schedule. The network engineer will be responsible for supporting the refresh of the global network infrastructure for a federal client. This includes the development, test, implementation, and deployment of configured network equipment. This position will also require coordination with onsite support staff to troubleshoot any issues that arise during the installation of equipment on site. Design and engineer MCAS network security configurations. Required: Strong knowledge and experience with Cisco products Cisco Platform for Internet Testing (PIT) routers Cisco Aggregate routers Internet Key Exchange V2 (IKEV2) Routing configuration in IPV4 and IPV6 Understanding of DNS, SMTP, NNTP, DHCP, Firewalls and VPN (IPSEC) Understanding of the technology behind routers, hubs, bridges, and switches Understanding of remote access servers and terminal servers Exceptional customer service skills Communications skills - oral and written Excellent problem solving skills Minimum Secret Clearance Preferred: Experience delivering services to federal client Bachelor's degree preferred Associated technical certifications preferred (CCNA, CCNP, CCNE, CISSP. Cloud) 5-10 years hands on relevant experience Previous Dept. of State experience preferred.
