This exciting career opportunity is for a proven engineering professional to serve as a technical and relationship liaison. The successful candidate will oversee a well established multi disciplinary group (approximately 25 total) of engineers, designers and technicians. This individual reports to the Director of Engineering and will be responsible for the relationship with a key client. The position requires a strong technical background in substation engineering along with a proven managerial track record. Candidate will be responsible for P&L of key client project work, communication, process creation, team management, and is ultimately responsible for ensuring the successful execution of all project work. Role will be a hybrid allowable role based out of the Chattanooga, TN office. If located in Knoxville, must be willing to travel down to Chattanooga at least once a week. Requirements: PE license or PMP certification is required. Ability to identify, analyze, and solve difficult technical and management problems related to engineering projects. Possess aptitude for engineering and design, as well as proposal preparation, estimating, accounting, and scheduling. Strong organizational and process workflow management skills. Adept at modifying and adapting processes and workflows to accomplish team goals efficiently. Strong verbal and written communication skills. Excellent interpersonal skills to build relationships and work effectively in a team environment

both internally and externally. Strong working knowledge of computers and software such as AutoCAD, Vault, and Microsoft Office Suite, including Excel. Must also possess knowledge of corporate accounting practices and business operations. Willingness to develop, promote and comply with Mesa safety requirements. Reactive to Director/VP work instructions and proactive/reactive to client requests. 8+ years of experience managing projects and/or customer accounts.
