Our facility in Highlands Ranch, CO has an immediate opportunity for an entry level Planner / Scheduler within the growing Engineering Planning organization. In this position, you will work with engineers and other planning disciplines at the front end of where all spacecraft begin - design. Primary duties will include architecting a detailed engineering release schedule, tracking and taking status of engineering products, and reporting metrics and performance to stakeholders and customers. This is a great opportunity to get into the aerospace business at the ground level with ample access to training, growth and career. Basic Qualifications: Bachelor's degree from an accredited college. In lieu of a degree, candidates with equivalent years of relevant work experience will also be considered. Must be able to acquire a secret clearance. Proficiency with Microsoft Office applications e.g. Excel, Word, PowerPoint, Project. Experience in developing and delivering presentations. Experience working in a schedule driven environment e.g. engineering, manufacturing, stockroom, supply chain. Experience working in a team environment. Must be a United States Citizen Desired Skills: Preferred candidates will have 1 year of relevant work experience. Current or previous experience using Microsoft Project, Open Plan, or other planning software such as Primavera. Positive, can-do attitude and strong organizational skills. Ability to multi-task, prioritize accordingly and meet deadlines. Possess strong critical thinking skills. Security Clearance Statement: This position requires a government security clearance, you must be a US Citizen for consideration. Clearance Level: Secret. Work Schedules: Lockheed Martin supports a variety of alternate work schedules that provide additional flexibility to our employees. Schedules range from standard 40 hours over a five day work week while others may be condensed. These condensed schedules provide employees with additional time away from the office and are in addition to our Paid Time off benefits. Schedule for this Position: 9x80 every other Friday off. Pay Rate: The annual base salary range for this position in California and New York (excluding most major metropolitan areas), Colorado, Hawaii, Illinois, Maryland, Minnesota, New Jersey, Vermont, Washington or Washington DC is $52,300 - $92,230. For states not referenced above, the salary range for this position will reflect the candidate's final work location. Please note that the salary information is a general guideline only.
