We are seeking a strategic and experienced Engineering Leader to lead our engineering organization through its next phase of growth and innovation. The ideal candidate will be a visionary leader who can drive technical excellence while building and developing high-performing teams across mechanical, design, and controls engineering disciplines. Plans and directs all aspects of engineering team activities. Acts as both the leader of the Mechanical and Controls engineering teams as well as providing cross-functional leadership. Ensures all engineering projects, initiatives, and processes are in conformance with organization's established policies, objectives, and required level of quality. Mentors engineering team members and establishes individual goals that relate to overall business strategy. Core Purpose

Lead Intec Automation's engineering organization in delivering innovative, high-quality automation solutions while driving operational excellence, fostering innovation, and developing engineering talent. This role combines strategic leadership with technical expertise to drive the company's continued growth and market leadership in custom automation solutions. Core Responsibilities

Strategic Leadership: Develops and executes engineering strategic vision aligned with company objectives Creates and maintains engineering roadmap for technology and capability development Drives innovation and continuous improvement across all engineering functions Establishes and maintains department KPIs and performance metrics Build and maintain relationships with key customers and technology partners Develops and maintains external contractors to allow for flexible resources during peak Participate in executive leadership team and strategic planning Collaborate with Sales and Operations to ensure business growth and profitability Operational Excellence: Oversee both Electrical/Controls and Mechanical/Design engineering departments Manages engineering budget and resource allocation across departments Establishes and maintains engineering processes and best practices Ensures proper project execution and delivery Drives quality initiatives and technical excellence Manages department capacity and resource planning Oversees engineering tools, technologies, and infrastructure Team Development: Builds and develops high-performing engineering teams Mentors and develops engineering managers and technical leaders Creates career development paths for engineering staff Establishes training and development programs Fosters a culture of innovation and continuous learning Recruits and retains top engineering talent Promotes collaboration across engineering disciplines Builds & maintain a strong team of flexible and effective external contractors Required Skills & Competencies

Bachelor's degree in engineering required (Mechanical, Electrical, or related field) Master's degree preferred (Engineering, Business Administration, or related field) Minimum 15 years of progressive experience in automation industry or equivalent/combination of Engineering leadership in Manufacturing. Minimum 8 years in engineering management roles Experience leading multi-disciplinary engineering teams Proven track record of successful project delivery and team development Experience with business development and customer relationship management Comprehensive Benefits Package
