The Sr. IT Vendor Management Analyst is responsible for managing relationships with specific vendors and serving as the organization's point of contact. Researches, analyzes and evaluates vendors and recommends new vendor purchases. Provides support to the organization for problems with vendor products and services. Familiar with a variety of the field's concepts, practices, and procedures. Relies on experience and judgment to plan and accomplish goals. Performs a variety of tasks. This role will report to the Director of Software, Risk, and Vendor Management of Production Services. Be a leader of vendor management processes by working with business partners to support purchasing, strategic needs, analysis, and procurement processes. Evaluate customer requirements for products and vendors including controls in the environment. Supervise efficient procurement of all materials to maintain inventory and update all purchase orders. Maintain and update knowledge on all purchasing and delivery of materials and associate current laws and regulations. Assist product owners (owner team) with counts, reporting, and analysis of inventory levels. Support financial team with PO processes and ensure vendor leases/purchases are correct tracked in support IT and Peoplesoft systems. Qualifications
3+ year's experience managing IT vendors or projects; Requires a bachelor's degree and 2-4 years of experience in the field or in a related area. Experience with program and project management, business delivery, or management consulting role owning end-to-end delivery. Prefer strong business acumen across multiple practices including, IT hardware/Asset Management, Vendor Management, Financial Management, Contracts Management and Operational Risk Management; Self-motivated/directed person who has the ability to embrace role and drive change; Comfortable interacting with multiple teams and leaders on a regular basis; Proven analytical skills and strategic thinking; Strong interpersonal skills with ability to communicate effectively at multiple levels of an organization (verbal and written); High degree of comfort with business and technology language; Ownership mentality with a deep sense of accountability over results; Excellent organizational skills a must; Microsoft Excel, Word and PowerPoint; Experience with PeopleSoft ePro/sPro highly preferred.
