Senior Financial Analyst
We are seeking a Senior Financial Analyst to join our team in Chicago. This is a pivotal role within the Finance department, responsible for managing business partnerships, driving business forecasting, and overseeing Financial Planning & Analysis (FP&A) activities. The ideal candidate will have a strong analytical mindset, business acumen, and proven expertise in financial modeling, budgeting, and business performance management. You will work closely with key stakeholders across multiple business units, offering financial insights and strategic recommendations to drive performance, profitability, and growth for the organization. Senior Financial Analyst Responsibilities:
Business Partnerships: Build and maintain relationships with senior business leaders and cross-functional teams to support the alignment of financial and strategic objectives Business Forecasting: Lead the development of accurate and timely business forecasts, ensuring alignment with company goals and identifying key financial drivers Financial Planning & Analysis (FP&A): Manage and enhance FP&A processes, including budgeting, forecasting, variance analysis, and long-term financial planning Reporting & Analysis: Prepare detailed financial reports, presentations, and performance dashboards to communicate key insights and trends to senior management Strategic Decision Support: Provide financial insights and recommendations to guide strategic decisions related to business growth, cost management, and resource allocation Process Improvement: Identify opportunities to streamline financial processes, enhance forecasting accuracy, and improve overall financial operations Senior Financial Analyst Requirements:
Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, Economics, or a related field. MBA or CFA designation is a plus 5+ years of experience in financial analysis, FP&A, or business partnering, preferably in a global organization Proven experience with business forecasting, budgeting, financial modeling, and variance analysis Strong track record of working with senior leadership and cross-functional teams to drive business results Interested candidates are encouraged to submit their resume and a cover letter outlining their qualifications and interest in the role.
