As a Patrol Unarmed Officer with Allied Universal, you will play a key role in helping to maintain a secure environment within a dynamic tech, media, and telecom location. Your responsibilities will include conducting regular patrols throughout the assigned areas, remaining highly visible to help deter security-related incidents, and responding promptly to any situations that arise. You will interact with employees, visitors, and guests, providing outstanding customer service and clear communication at all times. This is a driving post, so you will be responsible for operating a vehicle as part of your patrol duties. Position Type: Part Time Pay Rate: $17.00 / Hour Job Schedule: Day Time Mon 03:00 PM - 11:00 PM Sun 03:00 PM - 11:00 PM What You'll Do: Use our proprietary scheduling platform to claim open shifts at client sites Support operations across a range of environments including commercial real estate, healthcare, and education Receive site-specific training and guidance from experienced teams Deliver consistent, professional security presence and customer service Be ready to fill in at short notice when urgent needs arise Responsibilities: Provide customer service to clients by carrying out security-related procedures, following site-specific policies, and responding to emergency situations as appropriate. Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, maintaining professionalism at all times. Conduct regular and random patrols throughout the location, including both the business interior and perimeter, to help deter unwanted activity and identify potential concerns. Observe and report any unusual activity or security-related incidents according to established protocols. Communicate clearly and promptly with Allied Universal management and/or site contacts regarding incidents, concerns, or requests. Assist with access control by monitoring entry and exit points, verifying credentials, and helping to maintain authorized access to designated areas. Support emergency response activities as directed, including assisting with evacuations or other site-specific procedures. What We're Looking For: Availability across various days and shifts Reliability and ability to adapt to different post assignments A desire to gain broad experience and grow within the company Interest in transitioning into full-time roles when available Minimum Requirements: Customer service experience is preferred. Alarm panel experience is preferred. Comfortable using a computer or tablet is preferred. A valid driver's license is required for driving positions only. Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles. Possess a high school diploma or equivalent. As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
