We are seeking a highly skilled C-suite Senior Executive Assistant to support our Chief Risk Officer (CRO) and the Enterprise Risk Management (ERM) team, helping to advance our organization's resilience and growth. The Senior Executive Assistant to the Chief Risk Officer and ERM team will provide high-level, confidential administrative support to the CRO. This role requires exceptional professionalism, sound judgment, and discretion, as you will be entrusted with sensitive information and will serve as a liaison between the ERM team, C-suite, and both internal and external stakeholders. Key Responsibilities

Executive Support: Manage complex calendars, coordinate meetings, events, and travel arrangements for the Chief Risk Officer and ERM leaders, ensuring seamless daily operations. Communication Management: Serve as a primary point of contact for the CRO, facilitating communication between executives, board members, and senior business partners. Prepare, review, and manage confidential communications, reports, and presentations. Meeting Coordination: Prepare agendas, compile briefing materials, and monitor follow-up actions for meetings, reviews, and leadership sessions. Travel & Event Planning: Arrange domestic and international travel. Organize team offsites and company-sponsored events as needed. Project Management: Support special ERM initiatives from inception to completion. Track deadlines, anticipate needs, and ensure timely delivery of projects. Confidentiality & Discretion: Handle sensitive information with utmost integrity and professionalism. Relationship Building: Build rapport and relationships with employees, line of business and functional partners, including the ERM leadership team, and the administrative assistant community. Develop best practices for other administrative staff within ERM and serve as a leader and role model within that administrative community. Document & Records Management: Organize, maintain, and update documents and files, ensuring compliance with company policies and regulatory standards. Expense Management: Prepare and reconcile expense reports and financial documentation for the CRO and ERM team as needed. Stakeholder Relations: Foster relationships with business partners, and industry peers on behalf of the CRO and ERM team. Continuous Improvement: Identify and implement process enhancements within the ERM team for optimal workflow and efficiency. Qualifications

Minimum of 7 years' experience supporting C-level executives or senior leaders, preferably in a publicly traded or regulated environment. The ability to support multiple competing priorities and end-to-end planning for timely delivery of key deliverables to CEO, other ELT members, and/or the board of directors. Professional demeanor, impeccable integrity, and the capacity to maintain confidentiality. Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to draft clear and concise communications and executive summaries. Technological proficiency, including expertise with Microsoft Office Suite, document management systems, and executive scheduling tools. Strong interpersonal skills for building trusted relationships at all levels and supporting collaboration in high-stakes settings. Proactive, analytical approach to anticipating and solving challenges. Flexibility to work outside of standard business hours. Experience supporting board committees is highly desirable. Compensation The listed annualized base pay range is primarily based on analysis of similar positions in the external market. Actual base pay could vary and may be above or below the listed range based on factors including but not limited to performance, proficiency and demonstration of competencies required for the role. The base pay is just one component of The Hartford's total compensation package for employees. Other rewards may include short-term or annual bonuses, long-term incentives, and on-the-spot recognition.
