SCM Production Planner

The primary role of a SCM Production Planner is to build an optimal production schedule by balancing supply chain functions including material availability, capacity resource planning, inventory management, on-time delivery, and other functions. The role requires collaboration among cross-functional teams to ensure all departments understand and execute the plan on time. Role and Responsibilities: Scheduling - Update and revise schedules based on material availability by working in conjunction with the Purchasing team. MIP planners perform daily review of inventory and demand by updating PSI (Physical-Sale-Inventory) file, and adjust the plan to meet main line demand. Master Data Management - Manage planning system parameters and master data to optimally reflect machine capacity. Key Risks Identification - Communicate and engage production leaders to achieve set goals by reviewing the plan and all potential risks (may involve materials, capacity, equipment uptime / reliability, planned maintenance). During unforeseen situations (machine issues, broken molds, etc.), planners simulate the risk potential of the issues and report to management. Market Demand Analysis - Performs market demand analysis for model group by analyzing factors (price tracking, sales results, WOS analysis) KPI Management - Monitor planning KPI (SOP Execution, Production Linearity, etc), and provide root cause and countermeasure for rates under target. Skills and Qualifications: Education: Bachelor's degree in Supply Chain Management, Industrial Engineering, Mathematics, Business, or related field. (required) Experience: No experience required (1 year experience in SCM operation or manufacturing experience preferred) Knowledge: [Preferred]: Sales and operations planning (S&OP), Demand management, Forecasting, Supply planning, Supply Chain Management Process Skills: [Required]: Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills. Ability to work in a fast paced and goal orientated environment. High proficiency in Excel. [Preferred]: Technical experience with SAP Domestic role. Limited interaction with other regions and HQ.
