Mid-States Bolt & Screw in Burton, MI seeks Warehouse Packager. Starting wage is $13.00. Shift is 6am to 2:30pm M-F. Job Description: A packager is in charge of putting together packages for shipping. As a packager you will ensure the right materials are assembled. Check that all packages are properly packaged and sealed. Meet the specifics of customer orders in a timely manner. Tasks: Assemble, line and pad cartons, crates, and containers, using hand tools Clean containers, materials, supplies or work areas using cleaning solutions and hand tools Examine and inspect containers, materials and products to ensure that packing specifications are met Mark and label container, container tags or products using marking tools Obtain, move and sort product, materials, containers and orders using hand tools Record product, packaging and order information on specified forms and records Seal containers or materials, using glues, fasteners, nails and hand tools All other duties as assigned by supervision Work Context: Requires walking, Requires standing, Requires working in very hot (above 90 F degrees) temperatures, Requires being exact or highly accurate, Requires meeting strict deadlines, Requires work with others in a group or team, Requires working indoors in non-controlled environmental conditions, Job tasks are performed in close physical proximity to other people
