Process Engineer Opportunity
Location: North Kansas City Workplace Type: On-Site Are you passionate about optimizing operations and driving efficiency? We're looking for a Process Engineer to transform workflows, enhance production, and create smarter, more effective systemsjoin us in shaping the future! As a Process Engineer in the Treating and Drying department, you will develop innovative solutions and new approaches to engineering problems, determining the sequence of steps or processes required to fabricate and assemble products that meet the organization's standards of quality and cost. This position reports to the Unit Manager. What you will do: Optimize operations
analyze and refine workflows to enhance efficiency and productivity. Enhance production
implement process improvements to drive better output and quality. Problem-solving
identify inefficiencies and develop solutions to streamline operations. Data-driven decisions
use analytics to support continuous improvement initiatives. Cross-functional collaboration
work with teams across departments to improve processes. Innovation & sustainability
drive forward-thinking solutions for long-term operational success. Technical expertise
apply engineering principles to optimize manufacturing systems. What you will bring: Experience in executing projects or process improvements and troubleshooting in a manufacturing environment. Strong communication skills, with the ability to present technical information and prepare concisely written reports. Ability to work effectively in a team environment, build consensus, and foster relationships at multiple organization levels and across different organizational functions. Is self-directed and demonstrates a high level of initiative. Demonstrated degree of sound judgment, resourcefulness, and innovation in handling complex technical assignments, with minimal supervision. Who you are: Bachelor's degree in chemical or mechanical engineering with 3 or more years of manufacturing experience. Ability to successfully implement capital projects/permits and perform engineering functions in a manufacturing environment. Demonstrate completed projects meet the design objectives. $81,680.00-$108,906.67 Annual This pay range is not a guarantee of compensation or salary. Final base salary will be determined based on several factors which may include but are not limited to responsibilities of the job, education, experience, knowledge, skills, and abilities, as well as internal equity, alignment with market data and applicable bargaining agreement (if any). Incentive Compensation:
As a part of the total compensation package, this role may be eligible for the Ingredion Annual Incentive Plan or a role-specific commission/bonus. Benefits:
