We support customers throughout the Department of Defense and U.S. Government in building innovative new tools to deliver unique world-class data exploitation capabilities. We are seeking a talented ELK Engineer to join our Mission Data Processing program. Our ideal candidate will design, implement, and maintain our ELK stack (Elasticsearch, Logstash, Kibana) infrastructure, have strong expertise in data ingestion, processing, indexing, and visualization to help monitor and analyze large volumes of log and event data across our systems. Responsibilities: Design, deploy, and maintain ELK stack components (Elasticsearch, Logstash, Kibana) for centralized logging and analytics. Develop and optimize Logstash pipelines for parsing, filtering, and transforming log data from multiple sources. Manage Elasticsearch clusters, including indexing strategies, shard management, and query optimization. Create and maintain Kibana dashboards and visualizations to provide insights and support operational monitoring. Monitor and troubleshoot performance issues within the ELK stack and ensure high availability. Collaborate with DevOps, development, and security teams to integrate ELK solutions into existing workflows. Implement data retention, archiving, and security policies related to log data. Automate deployment and configuration using Infrastructure as Code (IaC) tools. Stay current with ELK stack updates and best practices to continuously improve the logging infrastructure. Work with team members, subcontractors and DoD organizations across sites, accommodating hardware limitations and ensuring seamless integration Participate and complete training that aligns with corporate objectives to bridge skill gaps and learn new relevant technologies Other duties as assigned
