As a Staff Technical Project Manager you are a strategic driver of complex, cross-functional initiatives that are foundational to MCG's technology strategy and product roadmap. You bring systems thinking, execution excellence, and stakeholder partnership to advance high-impact programs across multiple engineering domains. You will lead planning, execution, and risk mitigation for initiatives that span multiple teams, navigating ambiguity, shifting priorities, and interdependencies with a focus on delivering results and enabling team success. You will operate with high autonomy, influence decision-making, and mentor project managers and engineers. Success is measured by your ability to align business and technical objectives, deliver outcomes that scale, and elevate how we plan and execute across the organization. You will: Own and drive large-scale, complex initiatives from inception to delivery across multiple teams and functions. Develop multi-quarter execution strategies and influence prioritization at the roadmap level. Align stakeholders around long-term goals, key milestones, and critical success factors. Lead cross-team planning, ensuring dependencies are identified and actively managed. Champion the use of Agile, SAFe, or hybrid methodologies appropriate to the scope and maturity of teams. Manage scope, timeline, and deliverables for large programs, balancing speed and quality. Drive clear and effective communication tailored to diverse stakeholders, including Engineering, Product, Design, Legal, and Executive audiences. Proactively surface risks, gaps, and tradeoffs with data-informed recommendations. Facilitate collaboration across organizational boundaries and align multiple perspectives. Establish and evolve best practices for risk identification, mitigation, and contingency planning. Ensure that technical deliverables meet high standards for reliability, maintainability, and security. Foster a culture of continuous improvement in project delivery practices and outcomes. Identify opportunities to improve execution frameworks, tooling, and workflows across engineering programs. Mentor Senior TPMs and other delivery roles; contribute to career development and knowledge-sharing initiatives. Bring thought leadership in scaling program management capabilities as the organization grows What We're Looking For: Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, Business, or a related field. Project or program management certification (e.g., PMP, SAFe Agilist, or similar) is a plus. 8+ years of technical program or project management experience, including leading initiatives with significant scope and complexity. Proven experience working with and influencing product owners, engineering managers, architects and senior developers. Demonstrated success in managing large cross-functional projects, particularly in fast-paced, ambiguous environments. Exceptional project leadership and stakeholder management capabilities. Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with a focus on outcome-driven planning. Advanced communication skills, with an ability to translate complex technical details into business-relevant insights. High emotional intelligence, adaptability, and a bias for action. Experience with software development lifecycle (SDLC), DevOps practices, and modern software engineering principles. Deep understanding of Agile, SAFe, and hybrid delivery models. Expertise with tools such as Jira, Confluence, or equivalent portfolio/project tracking platforms. Licensure (Preferred but Not Required): SAFe Agilist (SA) or SAFe Program Consultant (SPC) PMI-Agile Certified Practitioner (PMI-ACP) Project Management Professional (PMP)
