This position reports to: Local Business Line Manager Marine System Your Role and Responsibilities

In this role, you will have the opportunity to act as the technical lead for all engineering activities in assignments. Each day, you will ensure the activities related to all engineering disciplines within the project are executed in an efficient and cost-effective manner. You will also showcase your expertise by acting as a design authority for a particular engineering discipline and completing the corresponding engineering assignments. The work model for the role is: hybrid. This role is contributing to the Process Automation, Marine and Ports Division in Houston, TX. You will be mainly accountable for: Collaborating on project installation, commissioning, and site activities, to clarify potential issues or provide solutions to rectify the engineering errors. Coaching the project engineers and designers on the translation of conceptual designs to engineering documentation, including modelling, prototyping, and calculations. Leading and coordinating with teams in all engineering disciplines (both in-house and outsourced) on projects. Applying design thinking or design for excellence concepts in projects, including modelling, prototyping, simulation, and calculations. 5+ years of professional experience MSc or BSc in Electrical Engineering or relevant field and/or relevant Marine industry experience Experience with AC & DC electrical systems Experience with standard and alternative Marine industry power sources (Diesel Gensets, Fuel Cells, ESS & UPS) Experience & knowledge of relevant industry regulatory & classification standards Fluent spoken and written English Strong drive for world-class quality Ability to independently work Authorization to work in the United States What's in it for you?
