Test Technician
This is a 6-9 month 1099 contract opportunity with no benefits. Job Purpose: This Test Technician position is responsible for supporting software and hardware verification and validation testing for a medical device. Job Functions
Execute verification and validation protocol dry runs and official testing including documenting test results/deviations. Perform bench test development functions and debug of designs. Develop/document test fixtures. Write test procedures/protocols and generate reports with guidance. Presents protocols and test reports to cross functional team, address and close action items and submissions into document control QMS system. Required Knowledge, Skills and Abilities:
Experience with basic engineering practices and the use of industry standard test equipment (Oscilloscopes, SW debugging tools, MS Office). Knowledge with the use of emulators, logic analyzers, EMI receivers, Instron. Understanding of digital design as required to test and correct issues. Ability to work with sensor level engineers in the debug and problem resolution. Understanding of the theory behind testing and capable of creating verification documents. Work in an organized and neat manner. Work in a methodical manner with attention to details and follows instruction. Ability to communicate within his/her discipline and with others who are not as technically trained. Strong oral and written communication and listening skills. Travel Requirements:
Ability and willingness to travel to outside test labs to execute/support offsite lab testing. Travel to Getinge Wayne facility 5 days per week.
