Clinical Adjunct Position

This clinical adjunct position is responsible for weekly clinical experience in OB/maternity. Duties/Responsibilities Supervising students in the clinical setting Conducting a post-clinical debrief following Keene State and Cheshire Medical Center policies Creating student assignments Supervising safe medication administration Evaluating student performance and providing constructive feedback for improvement Reviewing and responding to weekly reflection assignments Clinical evaluations at midterm and final of clinical experience. Requirements Minimum Acceptable Education & Experience: BS in Nursing with 3-5 years of experience Required Licenses & Certifications: Unencumbered RN license in New Hampshire Current Basic Life Support Healthcare provider Knowledge, Skills & Abilities: Demonstrate comprehensive expertise and knowledge of Obstetric and neonatal care, demonstrates skilled care of mother's and infants, collaborate with NURS411 Maternity/Newborn instructor, knowledge in nursing education in the clinical setting-thoughtful reflection on teaching effectiveness and student evaluation and willingness to create a proactive plan to address any issues with student performance, effective communication skills, encouragement of responsible, independent, analytic, or creative thought by students knowledge in Cheshire WACHU policies and procedures Preferred Qualifications: MSN in Nursing and/or certification in OB Required Applicant Documents: Cover Letter Resume/CV Keene State College is located in the scenic Monadnock region of Southwest New Hampshire and is an affiliate of the University System of New Hampshire.
