ABB Electrification Sales Strategy Leader

This Position reports to: Account Manager You will lead and execute the OEM sales strategy to increase new account creation, demand generation, and market share growth, profitability, and customer acquisition. You will also oversee sales leads, track current opportunities, and solve specific customer issues to sell ABB Electrification products into new applications or convert products on existing customer applications. The work model for the role is: remote within the Western Territory (Preferred living locations - Dallas, Denver, San Diego, Sacramento). This role is contributing to the Electrification Smart Buildings division. You will be mainly accountable for: Strategic Account Leadership : Leads and executes account strategies to drive OEM market share, profitability, and customer acquisition across $MM+ in accounts, while setting and achieving sales targets through structured follow-up. Customer & Market Engagement : Builds long-term customer relationships, resolves issues, and identifies growth opportunities by understanding key business drivers, emerging risks, and competitive activity. Sales Enablement & Collaboration : Trains field sales and reps on OEM tools and initiatives, collaborates on sales strategies, and ensures a coordinated approach across divisions and countries to deliver added value. Market Intelligence & Tools Adoption : Stays ahead of market trends and electrification opportunities, while driving the use of standardized sales tools and processes like Salesforce and account planning frameworks. Qualifications for the role: Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Marketing, and/or Business with 15 years of experience or high school diploma with 20+ years of experience (industry experience preferred) Demonstrates ABB's core values and group safety and integrity standards and acts accordingly. Implements and ensures compliance with the ABB code of conduct, global and local standards, tools, policies, and processes in their assigned area and ensures adherence to all relevant internal and statutory regulations and policies. Ensures integrity and compliance with ABB values and ethics in all activities. Demonstrates an understanding of Health, Safety, and Environment (HSE) terms, concept application, reporting, and risks Candidates must already have a work authorization that would permit them to work for ABB in the US. While base salary is determined by things such as the successful applicant's qualifications and experience, this position is expected to pay between $138,800 and $231,200 annually and is eligible for a short-term incentive plan/annual bonus.
