The associate conference producer will support the development and execution of GDC's conference program, working closely with the content team to create compelling educational sessions, workshops, and networking opportunities that serve the game development community. Key Responsibilities Assist in developing and curating conference content across multiple tracks Research industry trends and identify emerging topics for conference sessions Support speaker recruitment and management Coordinate with speakers on session preparations and content delivery Draft clear, professional communications for different audience segments Respond promptly to inquiries and provide excellent customer service Help maintain the conference submission and review system Assist in managing the advisory board relationships Write and edit session descriptions and marketing copy Support the development of conference schedules and agendas Help coordinate content for digital platforms and virtual components Manage conference management software for speaker submissions, program details, reviews, and communications Maintain program databases and ensure accurate information across all platforms Process speaker honorariums and expense reimbursements according to company policies Maintain accurate records of all speaker compensation and reimbursements Assist in post-event analysis, reporting and session evaluations Qualifications
Required Qualifications Bachelor's degree in relevant field 1-3 years of experience in event content production or related field Excellent written and verbal communication skills Strong organizational and project management abilities Attention to detail and ability to meet deadlines Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite and content management systems Desired Skills Knowledge of game development technologies and trends Experience with conference or event production Understanding of adult learning principles Familiarity with virtual event platforms Basic technical understanding of game development Experience with data analysis and reporting Network within the gaming industry The salary range for this role is $60,000- $70,000 based on experience.
