Lift Mechanic/Electrician
The Ski Maintenance Lift Mechanic/Electrician performs general maintenance and repairs to aerial and surface lifts, lighting systems and other related tasks as assigned. Individual will perform electrical work, as needed, in accordance with all local codes. Required: Must be at least 18. Prior mechanical or electrical experience. Ability to work at heights outside in all weather conditions. Must be able to climb 70 feet, lift 100 pounds and work outside in inclement weather and be exposed to extreme heat and cold weather conditions. Valid driver's license and approved driving record (provide upon request). Preferred: Prior electrical or mechanical vocational training and/or lift operation experience. Welding, fabrication and equipment operation experience a plus. Typical Schedule: Days: Spring/Summer: MondayThursday, weekends and holidays required when aerial lift is operating. Winter: MondayFriday, weekends and holidays required. Hours: Spring/Summer: 7am-5pm. Some rotating shifts from 2pm-10pm (Coaster operations), additional hours as needed. Winter: 6:30am-5pm, occasional late evenings as needed. Core Responsibilities: Perform routine maintenance on aerial lifts and surface conveyors. Troubleshoot electrical wiring.
