We're seeking an Analyst or Senior Analyst, Operations, Administration and Monitoring, Credit Investments who will support the Managing Director, Operations, Administration and Monitoring in the daily operations, monitoring, reporting and analysis for Credit Investments in the New York Office. Liaising with internal and external business partners, responsibilities will consist of operating matters including facilitating closing for new transactions, treasury management, reporting and analysis on the portfolio, working with PSP's US external providers on tax compliance and valuation and systems management and enhancements. PSP's Credit Investment (CI) group currently manages a global portfolio of ~USD19 billion (over 100 portfolio companies) with plans to grow its asset base. The team has over 35 investors across our NY, London, and Montreal offices. The CI group is known to be a reliable, creative, and user-friendly financing solutions provider across a wide range of industries. The team develops long-term partnerships with top tier private equity sponsors, other large direct lenders, and companies. CI provides significant financing and capital commitments in both private and broadly syndicated transactions and has the flexibility to price risk across the capital structure. Products include 1st and 2nd lien, unitranche, delayed-draw, and unsecured term loans as well as revolvers, private or public high yield notes, HoldCo, PIK or cash-pay notes, and preferred equity. CI works within our "One PSP" culture across asset classes to optimize relationships and investments. As an Analyst / Senior Analyst, Operations, Administration and Monitoring, Credit Investments you will broadly focus in four core areas: Investment Support and Analysis Manage the deal closing process, including wire transfers, loan settlement and bond trades Work with external loan administration agents on portfolio positions to ensure all interest and principal payments are received on a timely basis and all KYC processes are complete Maintain relationships with external service providers including banking, custody and valuators Review portfolio performance measures, calculate return metrics and prepare analysis including concentration limits review Develop and demonstrate an in-depth understanding of the investment structures of the Credit Investments asset class Treasury & Cash Management Prepare projections of cashflows and communicate to internal stakeholders Prepare and execute operating wires, monitor cash balances and transactions Prepare bank account and operating balance reconciliations Systems, Analysis and Improvement Validate, reconcile and report on portfolio data across WSO and Black Mountain/Allvue Review portfolio performance across key slice and dice metrics and contribute to returns analysis Perform hypothetical return analysis from single investments to the whole portfolio Contribute to improvement and enhancement projects across the Operations function such as the development of new system dashboards Reporting and Investment Accounting Creation of new investments in the operating system Prepare weekly, monthly and quarterly reporting packages for the global Credit Investments team Manage the requirements of internal and external auditors as needed The base salary will range from $90,000 - $130,000 per year. PSP offers globally aligned compensation structures which are sensitive to local market conditions.
