Maintenance Technician- 2nd Shift

Job Title: Maintenance Technician Department: Molding Schedule: Sunday- Thursday 3:15PM-11:45PM Facility location: Charlestown, NH Summary: The Maintenance Technician must optimize machine reliability and minimize maintenance & production downtime. This includes the responsibility and ownership to ensure the production floor has maintenance support. This position requires to work overtime when maintenance needs make such scheduling necessary. The Maintenance Technician 1 must meet the position requirements and demonstrate ability to complete the essential job functions and responsibilities. This position is relied on heavily for production support and reports to the Maintenance Supervisor. Position Requirements:

Demonstrated willingness to learn in-depth machine maintenance and repairs Ability to read blueprints, single-lines, ladder logic, and wiring schematics Effective communication skills and interpersonal skills Ability to work well under pressure Ability to easily change priorities Flexibility is critical. As the Maintenance Technician 1 working after and/or before scheduled work hours may be needed to meet deadlines and strengthen knowledge base. Ability to prioritize tasks Good written and verbal communication skills. Essential Job Functions & Responsibilities:

Perform maintenance tasks while demonstrating a sense of urgency Be a proactive team member by ensuring proper coverage is in place after/or before scheduled work hours to support production Repair and troubleshoot complex machines Inspect equipment and systems to identify issues. Conduct periodic quality checks on equipment and systems to ensure everything is up to standard. Diagnose and resolve problems with plumbing and electrical systems in our buildings/machinery. Cleans and maintains maintenance shop, storage rooms, mechanical rooms, all power tools, and equipment Document inventory, strong understanding of vacuum, operating systems, and basic tools & appliances. Follow step-by-step calibration procedures Maintain inventory records for equipment and supplies. Demonstrate decision-making skills based on experience with preventative maintenance procedures. Bring ideas forward for continuous improvement for the department. Comply with all health and safety regulations and practices on site. Perform preventative maintenance work. Other duties as assigned High School w/6+ years relevant experience or AA/AS/Technical School w/3-6 years relevant experience. Physical Demands & Abilities:

Able to lift up to 50 pounds. Position will require sitting, walking, or standing for at least 40 hours per week. Able to stand for entire shift. Overtime as required. Specific vision abilities required include close vision, distance vision, color vision, peripheral vision, depth perception, and the ability to adjust focus.
