Top Secret Security Facility Officer
The Collins Consulting Facility Security Officer (FSO) is responsible for implementing the industrial security program and ensuring client states, company, and customer security requirements are met. The successful candidate will interface with all levels of company, customer, and government personnel to ensure contract security compliance with National Industrial Security Program Operating Manual (NISPOM) and other Program Classification Guides. This position requires a self-motivated candidate capable of working in an independent environment with minimal direction and requires experience and knowledge in all facets of security management. The FSO will serve as the primary company point of contact for all industrial security concerns and will provide security expertise, guidance, and advice to management and staff within the company. The candidate will be required to conduct security self-inspections, apply risk mitigation methodologies, support customer assessments, implement administrative programs, and implement security measures and programs to meet all requirements. This is a permanent full time position. Requirements: Self-starter with ability to work independently. Customer service oriented but with a commitment to security. Proven ability to exercise tact and discretion in handling sensitive information. Strong communication skills, both oral and written. Thorough working knowledge of the NISPOM and other relevant Department of Defense and other government security guidance. Able to interpret government security policies and apply them to company operations. Ability to develop, provide, and implement company standard operation procedures (SOPs) to comply with government and customer requirements. Ability to monitor and ensure company officers and managers comply with the requirements of the NISPOM and other government and customer requirements both in operations and reporting. Experience with and understanding of security processing systems such as JPAS, e-QIP, SWIFT, and eFCL. Able to administer day-to-day security programs: personnel processing, program reviews, incident reports, visit requests, DD254 forms, and related. Required to maintain facility SOPs, stored information, and accreditations to include all DSS, other government and customer required files. Ability to develop, establish, and implement effective security awareness, training, and education programs. Experience creating and conducting initial security briefings, debriefings, indoctrinations, pre/post foreign travel briefings and refresher briefings, as required to protect classified information. Provide initial indoctrination and training to all new employees as appropriate for their position. Ability to conduct and self-report required audits & self-inspections. Attend local DSS and ISAC meetings as company representative. This requires local travel. Education/Experience: US Citizen. Current Top Secret clearance. DSS CDSE Training certification as an FSO. Minimum 3 years of experience in Industrial Security. Strong communications skills, fluent in both oral and written English.
