Drainage Engineer
We are seeking an experienced Drainage Engineer to join our dynamic team, specializing in hydrologic and hydraulic analysis of conveyance systems, cross-drain design, stormwater management facility design, and floodplain compensation analysis. This position offers the chance to work on a variety of land development and infrastructure projects. Key Responsibilities: Conduct hydrologic and hydraulic analysis for stormwater and conveyance systems. Design cross drains and stormwater management facilities. Provide floodplain compensation analysis. Collaborate on project designs, permitting, and report preparation. Required Qualifications: Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering or related field from an accredited university. 5+ years of experience in land development design, FDOT drainage design, and/or permitting. Registered Professional Engineer (PE). Proficiency in Hydrology and Hydraulic Modeling and civil engineering practices for site or roadway design. Knowledge of AutoCAD & Civil 3D or OpenRoads and similar FDOT design software. Experience preparing engineering reports. Experience with StormWise (formerly ICPR4) modeling software.
