We are seeking a dedicated accountant to join our growing company. The Staff Accountant will report to the Accounting Manager and provide day-to-day accounting support by preparing journal entries for accurate general ledgers and sub ledgers while maintaining supporting documents. The Staff Accountant will also perform reconciliations and assist with the monthly general ledger closed in a timely manner. What You'll Do
Assist in maintaining an accurate general ledger and sub-ledgers. Understand and utilize appropriate accounting procedures and processes. Assist with Inventory reconciliation and prepare Inventory borrowing base certificates. Prepare and record monthly accrual entries. Monthly Balance Sheet analysis. Assist with preparation of monthly, quarterly, semi-annual and annual financial reports. Assist with external and internal audits. Manage recurring entries for company and parent company including monthly entries and reconciliation Responsible for company and parent company Fixed Asset maintenance, entries, reconciliation, and reporting including yearly counts. Responsible for payroll entries and other monthly close entries for company and parent company. Who You Are
Bachelor's or higher degree in Accounting/Finance 3+ years accounting/finance experience Solid understanding of GAAP and ability to do accounting research to find solutions for accounting issues. Experience with ERP systems; MS Dynamics GP experience a plus Highly detail oriented and organized in work. Ability to meet assigned deadlines. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
