How a Network Engineer Senior will make an impact: Analyzes customer requirements and provides technical solutions to a wide range of difficult problems Performs maintenance and upgrade of networks including servers, routers, switches, firewalls, remote access systems, and networks Maintains network integrity and connectivity while ensuring compliance with policies and maintains system backup and recovery capability Coordinates the acquisition of hardware and software as well as subcontractor services as needed Creates plans and configure systems for data communication networks Designs and builds hardware and software components for computer or telecommunications networks Evaluates new communications technologies to enhance capabilities of the network Maintains current knowledge of relevant technology as assigned May coach and provide guidance to less experienced professionals May serve as a team or task lead Participates in special projects as required. What you'll need to succeed: Education: Bachelor of Science in technical STEM, or demonstrated equivalent operations experience. Required Experience: 5+ years of related experience executing mission systems experience. Required Technical Skills: Preferably experience with IC customer. Will need experience working with Senior level visibility customers. The likely salary range for this position is $91,811 - $115,000. This is not, however, a guarantee of compensation or salary. Rather, salary will be set based on experience, geographic location and possibly contractual requirements and could fall outside of this range.
