Senior Associate, Program Management

Works to achieve operational targets for specific programs and projects with moderate impact on departmental results. Supports the management of programs and projects across USA from East Coast location. Position is located in Arlington, VA/Washington DC, reports to RTS Program Manager in the Washington DC area, and supports Senior Program Manager organization (Arlington, VA). The basic functions will be primarily be conducted at the Washington Navy Yard in support of primary government customer. The position's basic functions include: Customer support through the performance of on-site equipment operation, maintenance and installation, as well as overseeing any necessary diagnoses, troubleshooting, service, and repair of video control-center type display, communication, and encryption equipment and systems. In coordination with engineering personnel, checks out, reports on and approves operational quality of system equipment. Instructs customers and fellow employees in the operation and maintenance of the system. Serves as company liaison with customer on administrative, programmatic and technical matters for assigned projects and for other L3Harris' programs with the government customer. Interprets customers' needs and clarifies if the responsibility for problem resolution falls to program managers, engineers or other functional areas and works collaboratively with those organizations to provide customer with solutions. Essential Functions: Supports L3Harris program office and management with program/project related support. Operates the Flight Test Display System (FTDS) at the Washington Navy Yard in direct support of customer program requirements and needs. At times, conducts technical liaison with multiple customer organizations (e.g. CIO, Facilities, etc.) Supports on-site and remote customer meetings. Assist customer with engineering and programmatic document tracking through government approvals and other onsite administrative/technical support for government customer Communicates/collaborates throughout government customer organization at all levels of leadership up to and including Senior Executive Service to resolve customer and program issues. Qualifications: Hold a Secret clearance Requires practical knowledge of job area. Master's degree in related field. Preferred Additional Skills: Previous work supporting DOD/government contracts for engineering or engineering services. Experience with operating video display/recording systems, data-at-rest / data-in-motion / data-in-use encryption systems, voice/data communications systems, networking systems and devices.
