Mariani Landscape is seeking a Human Resources Business Partner. The Human Resources Business Partner plays a pivotal role in supporting various HR functions, including new hire onboarding, associate relations, performance management, HR policies, and engagement initiatives. This position emphasizes collaboration with business leaders to align HR strategies with organizational objectives. The ideal candidate will possess strong interpersonal skills, comprehensive HR policy knowledge, and a commitment to confidentiality. Job Duties and Responsibilities
Collaborate with business leaders to develop HR strategies aligned with organizational goals. Provide expert consultation to managers and associates on HR matters, including relations, performance, talent acquisition, and development. Support managers in addressing associate relations issues, investigations, and conflict resolution effectively. Analyze and address human capital issues promptly with effective solutions. Partner with compensation and company leadership to design and implement competitive compensation plans and incentive programs aligned with financial objectives. Manage the onboarding process to ensure a superior experience for new hires. Process bi-weekly and weekly new hire paperwork, including entering data into Workday for payroll and employment tracking. Assist managers in setting performance goals, conducting evaluations, and offering feedback. Work closely with talent acquisition to meet staffing needs effectively. Plan and oversee culture initiatives to foster a positive work environment. Identify training needs and coordinate development programs to enhance associate skills. Drive initiatives to boost associate engagement, satisfaction, and retention. Lead HR initiatives such as performance reviews, engagement surveys, and talent development. Analyze HR metrics and trends to identify improvement opportunities and develop action plans. Ensure compliance with employment laws and company policies. Participate in HR projects and contribute to enhancing HR processes continuously. Track HR metrics, generate reports, and provide data-driven insights to support business decisions, including turnover and workforce planning. Qualifications
Bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or a related field, or equivalent experience. SHRM certification (SHRM-CP) preferred. 3-5 years of demonstrated experience in HR generalist or similar leadership roles. Strong preference for candidates who are bilingual in English and Spanish. Proficient in HRIS systems and other HR-related software; experience with Workday is advantageous. Thorough knowledge of employment laws and regulations. Excellent communication, interpersonal, and problem-solving skills. Ability to maintain confidentiality and professionalism in all HR matters. The Perks
