Chillicothe, MO Wage: $20.74 hr Shifts: Night 7 pm - 7 am ($2 more for Night Shift differential) We offer a $2,000 retention bonus with great benefits and competitive pay. While reporting to the Shift Supervisor, the material handler will be responsible to move, load and unload materials by means of operating a fork truck within or near the plant, yard, or work site. Move finished goods between areas; following routing, delivery tickets, or orders. This position will additionally be responsible for all blending room activities, as needed. Excellent attendance is crucial for the team to achieve success. What You'll Be Doing:

Complies with all company policies and procedures, including all safety policies and procedures. Maintains material-handling equipment by completing pre-use inspections. Operates industrial truck to assist in loading or moving materials and products. Loads, unloads, stages and organizes materials and supplies, including all corrugate. Follows written and/or oral instructions to ascertain materials or containers to be moved. Counts, transfers, and records number of units of material/finished goods moved or handled by use of scanner gun. Attaches identifying tags or labels to materials or marks information on cases, gaylords, or other containers. Compares identifying information and counts, weighs, or measures items of incoming shipments to verify information against Bills of Lading, Invoices, Purchase orders, or other records. Stacks or assembles reusable corrugated materials into bundles by use of baler. Segregates weigh scrap and dumps trash in appropriate container. Provides assistance on the production floor for training of Back-Up Material Handlers. Performs Blending Room Material Handler duties as needed: Other duties as requested by Supervisor. This position is in our Plastics plant in beautiful Chillicothe, MO, where we produce plastic thermoformed trays. We'd love to hear from you if:

Minimum 6 months related experience and/or training. Current license as fork-truck operator Working independently and managing multiple tasks simultaneously is needed.
