F-35 Aircraft Maintenance Supervisor
You will be an F-35 Aircraft Maintenance Supervisor for the Lockheed Martin, Aeronautics Field Sustainment (AFS) aircraft maintenance team onboard Naval Air Station Fallon, Nevada. Our team is responsible for supporting the F-35 Flight Operations at Naval Aviation Warfighting Development Center. As an Aircraft Maintenance Supervisor you will impact everything from aircraft readiness to employee's wellbeing. Your responsibilities will include but are not limited to: Advises management on status of work in progress, material availability, and potential production problems to ensure that personnel, equipment, materials, and services are provided as needed. Ensures good housekeeping and safety practices are enforced. Integrates with the host squadron, advises host squadron of schedule requirement and production issues as they pertain to squadron aircraft support. Manages general services, repairs, and overhauls of aircraft and aircraft engines to ensure that aircraft are in good mechanical condition and safe for flight. Creates and assigns work-orders in the Autonomic Logistics Information System (ALIS) and accomplishes aircraft safety of flight releases as required. Candidate may supervise multiple maintenance disciplines in an integrated workforce environment that consists of Military and Lockheed Martin employees. Ensure workforce follows appropriate technical instructions, DCMA INST 8210, AFI 21-101, NAMP 4790.2C, NAMP 4790.35 and local operating instructions (as applicable). Candidates should expect to depart on temporary duty assignments with short notice, dependent on customer or LM ICS needs to include stateside or overseas. This may include certain military required health screenings and immunizations. Basic Qualifications: 6 years minimum fighter aircraft maintenance experience with thorough understanding of Fighter Aircraft Systems and flight line operations. Overall fighter experience must include at least 2 years F-35 aircraft maintenance experience (experience must be within the last 4 years) Leadership experience in an aircraft maintenance environment. Security Clearance Required. Must have at minimum an Interim Secret Security Clearance AND must be able to obtain and maintain a Final Secret Security clearance. Must be a US Citizen. Desired Skills: F-35 or Fifth generation aircraft maintenance experience Autonomic Logistics Information System (ALIS) experience Understanding of USN Maintenance Practices Strong verbal and written communications skills for coordinating with Field Service Representatives, and Maintenance Managers on schedules, aircraft status and issues as they occur. Effective communication skills for coordination at all levels throughout the NAS Fallon structure to include Operations, Maintenance, and Logistics Support Managers Proficient in the use Microsoft Office products Ability to develop and present formal briefings and presentations. Ability to develop necessary maintenance plans and procedures. Ability to develop work schedules and assign tasks. This position requires a government security clearance, you must be a US Citizen for consideration. Clearance Level: Secret. Onsite Full-time: The work associated with this position will be performed onsite at a designated Lockheed Martin facility. Lockheed Martin supports a variety of alternate work schedules that provide additional flexibility to our employees. Schedules range from standard 40 hours over a five day work week while others may be condensed. These condensed schedules provide employees with additional time away from the office and are in addition to our Paid Time off benefits. Standard Monday to Friday 40 hour work week.
