Cyber Analyst, Mid-Level
Far Ridgeline Engagements LLC, a Qinetiq US company, is seeking a Cyber Analyst, Mid-Level in Elkridge, MD who is able to perform analysis of specialized and/or technical data, make assessments and recommendations and prepares documentation related to associated data and analysis. Responsibilities Support network scanning to identify security vulnerabilities and intrusion detection parameters Support the implementation of Industrial/Physical security systems assessments and inspections based on regulations and industry standards - new DOD FIPS 201-2 standards, and NIST 800-53 Perform cyber research/analysis of cyber threats and events and evaluates information/physical security systems and practices Provide integrated cyber Intelligence/cyber-technical analytic expertise Support policy, procedural, and technical documentation development Knowledge of the ISC standard: Risk Management Process for Federal Facilities: Design Basis Threat. Required Qualifications TS/SCI with CI Poly or ability to pass one BS in an IT-related field Minimum 5 years' experience in cyber analytics Possess a working knowledge of tying together the considerations and capabilities of the Internet of Things and physical security systems on federal enterprise systems Experience with improving processes focused on the integration of CI and cyber investigations Experience with managing network security, identity and access management Experience with understanding, engaging, and determining system safety, performance, and reliability Experience with federal security regulations, standards, and business processes including FISMA, DOD FIPS-201-2, and NIST 800-53 Experience with the NIST Risk Management framework Experience developing Standard Operating Procedures (SOP) by translating technical information and guidance into standard operating procedures Knowledge of the information security risk assessment process. Knowledge of Computer Network Defense and vulnerability assessment tools, including open source tools, and their capabilities.
