A Partner Specialist's primary focus is to understand and articulate technology by working closely with our company's strategic partners to assist Sales to support our customer's technology needs. This position offers exposure to marketing, partner relations, project management, sales, and sales support. The Partner Specialist will be a resource for SHI's sales force, ensuring that customers receive the best solution to meet their needs. They will be experts on all products, programs, and marketing initiatives tied to SHI's OEM Cabling and Accessories partners and will work extensively with sales to assist in closing opportunities. Role Description

Act as a primary subject-matter expert for product, sales, and program information Work to build awareness of partners' programs by creating marketing content and delivering training within the sales organization Promote and evangelize the Partner within the company by being a brand ambassador Create and maintain content on internal team sites Manage and process Partner Deal Registration and/or other strategic pricing programs Facilitate deal registration process for supported OEM partner(s) Create and manage an opportunity pipeline using CRM and Excel Create & maintain sales-facing and customer-facing training decks and presentations Proactively work to develop and foster relationships between Partner(s) and Sellers by acting as the liaison and offering to make introductions and host conference calls Work with Sales to deliver customer calls, roadmaps, and presentations Advise Sales Representatives of partner best practices and industry trends by continually learning about the company's partners and the IT industry Obtain and maintain necessary sales certifications as required by the company and Partner(s) Assist with RFP Responses by making product recommendations, developing a strategic pricing strategy, and assisting with sourcing Manage and resolve post-sales requests and escalations, like exception returns on defective products Provide excellent support to both customers and the SHI sales organization Represent SHI at Industry or Partner events Behaviors and Competencies

The ability to effectively utilize applications like Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and Outlook to enhance productivity and perform various tasks efficiently - Basic Proficiency in utilizing Customer Relationship Management (CRM) software to manage and analyze customer interactions and data throughout the customer lifecycle, improving customer service, retention, and sales growth - Basic The ability to cultivate and maintain effective relationships with business partners, ensuring collaborative success and strategic alignment - Basic Other Requirements

Completed Bachelor's Degree required 1-3 years of experience in a similar role Experience selling or supporting cabling and accessories Familiarity with sales support tools such as AX, SalesCenter, CRM, Power BI, BI Reporting, Excel, Teams, etc. Ability to travel up to 10% Ability to work flexible hours Willingness to obtain and maintain Partners' Certifications during employment The estimated annual pay range for this position is $45,000 - $80,000 which includes a base salary and bonus. The compensation for this position is dependent on job-related knowledge, skills, experience, and market location and, therefore, will vary from individual to individual.
