Position Summary: The Director, Procurement will play a key role in shaping and executing procurement strategies for utility-scale renewable energy projects, including solar modules, wind turbines, and Battery Energy Storage Systems (BESS). This position is responsible for leading the negotiation and execution of EPC (Engineering, Procurement, and Construction) and equipment supply agreements, while working closely with internal teams and external partners to ensure project success. As the organization continues to scale, this role will also contribute to the evolution of a more structured and standalone procurement function. Key Responsibilities: Lead the procurement process for EPC and equipment supply agreements across solar, wind, and BESS projects Negotiate and execute both project-level contracts and master supply agreements with key suppliers and contractors. Collaborate with Development, Engineering, and Project Delivery teams to align procurement strategies with project timelines and budgets. Build and maintain strong relationships with major equipment manufacturers, suppliers, and service providers in the renewable energy sector. Monitor industry trends, market conditions, and regulatory developments to inform procurement decisions and mitigate risks. Support supplier performance management and ensure compliance with internal procurement policies and procedures. Contribute to the development of scalable procurement practices and tools that support long-term organizational growth. Skills & Qualifications: Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Supply Chain, Construction Management, or Business (MBA preferred). Minimum of 10 years of experience in procurement or supply chain roles, with a focus on utility-scale renewable energy projects. Demonstrated experience negotiating and managing EPC and equipment supply agreements. Strong understanding of renewable energy technologies and project development lifecycles. Excellent negotiation, communication, and stakeholder management skills. Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced, cross-functional environment. Proficiency in Microsoft Office tools (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook). Willingness to travel as needed.
