Adjunct Faculty Positions In English And Communication
The Department of English and Communication at Saint Anselm College, a Roman Catholic undergraduate liberal arts college in the Benedictine tradition in Manchester, NH, invites applications for adjunct faculty positions to begin in the fall 2025 semester. The successful candidate will teach one or two sections of EN105 ("First-Year Writing"), which is a four-credit course required for all first-year students and includes instruction in the process approach to writing expository prose as well as foundational college-level research skills. These are on-ground, in-person sections scheduled for afternoon timeslots on Mondays/Wednesdays or Tuesdays/Thursdays. Submit a letter of interest, curriculum vitae, evidence of teaching ability, and academic transcripts to the attention of Dr. Chani Marchiselli, Department Chair, via the college website. Three letters of recommendation are required and should be submitted in PDF format via email to the Dean's Office, at dean@anselm.edu. Applications will be reviewed as they are received and until the positions are filled. Required Skills: The successful candidate must have at least a Master's degree in English, Writing, or Composition and Rhetoric. Required Experience: Candidates should have substantial experience teaching first-year writing courses at the college level. Successful candidates will be able to assist the college in advancing its mission and strategic priorities, which includes institution-wide diversity and inclusiveness.
