Schedule: 6pm - 6am, 2 days on, 2 days off, Every other weekend (Friday, Saturday, Sunday) Starting Pay: $22.60/hr. Job Summary: This job requires all activities/tasks involved with the Whey Processing System including an RO and UF System, Cream System, and CIP Systems. The RO Operator will have to understand membrane units, track daily inventories, sign off on daily/weekly/monthly paperwork & maintain a clean work environment. The RO Operator will be required to have a thorough understanding of silo operation. Job Responsibilities: Understand and operate the whey separator, fine saver, fine water fall and line connections Understand and operate the UF system while monitoring set points and making adjustments Understand and operate the RO system while monitoring set points and making adjustments Understand and operate the polisher system while monitoring set points and making adjustments Operate equipment functionality such as CIP's and equipment PLC's Monitor silo levels, components and temperatures Monitor Master Sanitation Schedule for designated areas Properly record production data as needed. Maintain a sanitary workspace according to the Good Manufacturing Practices. Maintain open communications with all departments. Follow all current company policies and procedures. All other duties appropriate to the position or as assigned. Required Skills/Abilities: Strong communication and listening skills for work-related activities Follows instructions and takes initiative to complete tasks along with a continuous improvement mindset. Accountable for the entirety of facility and line's productivity/efficiency Works as a team with positive attitude and behaviors Verbal and written communication skills; including ability to read, understand and follow written procedures (SOPs/SSOPs) Flexibility in job roles, assisting team mates along with covering breaks when needed to meet business needs Meet physical demands of role, Honest and high level of Integrity, high degree of personal hygiene per GMPs, dependable attendance to meet business demands Education and Experience: High school diploma or equivalent preferred. Food manufacturing experience preferred but not required. Physical Requirements: Able to push, pull and lift at minimum 50lbs. On your feet for minimum 11hrs Working in temperature fluctuations; hot to cold environments Fast-paced and organized environment Must be able to reach over your head.
