What You'll Be Doing: Developing pricing models that are used by various Wells Fargo trading desks Enhancing production models to mitigate any deterioration in model performance Developing simulation models to forecast losses for trading portfolios Developing benchmark models to assess potential limitations of production models Providing analysis and reporting of metrics utilized to assess ongoing model performance What You Will Experience: Spend your Intern Induction Week at an offsite location Structured and engaging onboarding experience Speaker series with Wells Fargo senior leaders Professional development opportunities Networking and engaging with peers On-the-job experiences contributing to strategic business goals Program Dates: June - August, 2026 (10 weeks, 40 hours per week) Program Location: Charlotte, NC Required Qualifications: 6+ months of work experience, or equivalent demonstrated through one or a combination of the following: work experience, training, military experience, education Desired Qualifications: Currently pursuing a PhD degree in Mathematics, Physics, Engineering, Statistics or related quantitative field, with an expected graduation date after December 2026. Excellent programming skills for data and statistical analysis such as Python, C++ SAS, SQL, and Java. Experience and demonstrated knowledge in mathematical and numerical methods including Monte Carlo methods, differential equations, linear algebra, applied probability, and statistics. Excellent verbal, written, and interpersonal communication skills Strong analytical skills with high attention to detail and accuracy Intermediate Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, Outlook, and PowerPoint) skills Involvement in extracurricular enrichment activities through one or more of the following: volunteerism, student organization involvement, study abroad program(s), leadership position(s), non-profit involvement Proven ability to work effectively, as well as independently, in a collaborative, change driven atmosphere Energetic self-starter who proactively takes initiative, acts with urgency, remains curious, and has a genuine interest in learning and growth Join us at Wells Fargo and become a part of a dynamic team that is shaping the future of the financial industry.
