The Operations Representative l may be assigned to perform any task, activity, or responsibility that lies within the capability of the employee based on experience, knowledge, qualifications, and training. Key Accountabilities
Operations Representative l responsibilities may include, but are not limited to: Complete cost analysis. Record and monitor investment and maintenance budget expenses. Process mark-out requests in accord with Underground Facility Mark-Out Program. Maintain database related to the entry of statistical data regarding the operation of the transmission and distribution system in addition to departmental records. Prepare and schedule service line installations and replacements. Prepare correspondence and documents. Operate all meter reading software and related equipment as needed. Generate and review reports related to meter reading data collected, create service orders as needed, and track the service orders to completion. Respond to inquiries and professionally, when necessary, involve the appropriate individuals to resolve customer and Company-related issues and to achieve the highest level of Operations Representative l in all areas of assigned responsibility. Knowledge/Skills
The Operations Representative l must possess a general understanding of water utility operations and a working knowledge of Company policies, procedures, and safety practices, as well as federal, state, and local regulations applicable to area of responsibility. The individual must be detail-oriented and capable of preparing accurate records and documents. The Operations Representative l must possess strong verbal and written communication skills and be capable of operating a computer keyboard with speed and accuracy. The individual must be able to perform the essential functions and meet the physical requirements of Operations Representative l. The individual must be capable of operating Company equipment and vehicles necessary for the completion of assigned responsibilities and must possess and maintain a valid driver's license.
