Job Title
Conduct analysis of alternatives for configuration tools, make recommendations, work with team to design, develop, test, implement, and maintain tool choice. Responsibilities include: Administration, monitoring, and maintenance of software infrastructures and applications. Analyzing software, hardware, and database design and include in technical baseline. Maintaining documentation for all developed hardware, software, and databases, including requirements traceability matrices, APIs, software designs, software test reports, security documentation, POA&Ms, user guides, admin guides, and training. Maintaining a primary source repository with replication for COOP for all production configurations technology. Performing or participating in audits, inventories, and assessments of software, all documentation, and configurations to meet cybersecurity requirements in coordination with cyber teams. Annually, or as required, revalidating with users and engineering that technology continues to meet requirements. Implementing CM discipline for the entire life cycle of systems from initial requirements/capabilities baselines to system end-of-life. Creating and maintaining configuration baselines (development, test, production, etc.) Performing change control and configuration audits. Chairing Configuration Control meetings. Maintaining and improving all documentation related to configuration management and change control. Developing, reviewing, and maintaining a configuration management plan for all aspects of the software lifecycle. Providing guidance and leadership in all aspects of configuration management. Overseeing software tracking and releases. Collaborating with the configuration management team to ensure release integrity in multi-stage environments. Tracking and reporting on software releases through change requests, impact assessment, and version control. Establishing a documentation repository to track and maintain records. Leading software and code reviews and ensuring the configuration management plan is executed. Reporting on configuration management activities during meetings. Overseeing packaging of the software releases for testing and deployment. Managing the configuration management budget and ensuring adequate staffing. Keeping current and archived version of documents relevant to the program(s). Providing guidance into a knowledge management system/framework. Technical Environment: Microsoft, Linux, Splunk, Ansible, Tenable, GEMS Non-Negotiable Requirements: Top Secret with investigation current within the last 5 years. On-site, no remote. Requirements: A notification to prospective applicants that reviews, and tests for the absence of any illegal drug as defined in 10 CFR 707.4, will be conducted by the employer and a background investigation by the Federal government may be required to obtain an access authorization prior to employment, and that subsequent reinvestigations may be required.
